I live in a little village in the North Pennines which has a great influence on my work and life. Along with my appreciation for rugged landscapes and the natural world, I'm inspired by the teeny little pieces of joy the outside world has to offer, worms, snails, bugs, geese, lapwing, curlew, oystercatchers, badgers and other lovely beings I see whilst I frolick around this beautiful earth.
Combining whimsy with functionality, I create ceramics that make you smile, laugh or just gently exhale through your nose… I aim to capture a child-like wonder that can bring whimsical joy to your everyday.
I spend my time frolicking in woodlands and out on the moors, which inspires my playful and unique ceramics. My goal will always be to make people smile and bring a little bit of whimsy to your world.
